Search the World's Largest Cruise Database for all scheduled Silversea voyages.
Silversea is an offline vendor; you can still search all itenaries, port, and fleet information.
Want to know if you should book now or can afford to wait? The number of unsold cabins remaining is the best indicator of whether prices may rise or fall. Ask us to review the reservation system to advise you of how sales are progressing and whether we believe prices will rise or fall.
Vibe
Silverea is regarded as one of the world’s most luxurious cruise lines, which is a claim Regent likes to make as well.
Silversea, however, tends to be the most expensive mainstream brand, and it is the only one with butlers for every suite onboard.
The styling is more traditional than modern or contemporary, except for their new ships, Nova and Ray, which have a much sharper, more modern aesthetic and dynamic.
Signatures:
Individual butlers for every suite.
Butlers perform various functions, such as dinner reservations, caviar on demand, and canapes before dinner.
Full retail fares can be purchased with a door-to-door service that includes private limo transfers, flights, and luggage. This is not available to those on interline rates.
Silversea offers significantly more dining options than comparable lines such as Seabourn and Regent.
The new ships offer up to 8-10 dining venues, whereas Seabourn and Regent will only offer the main dining room, buffet, and one or two specialty restaurants.
Almost 1:1 guest ratio
Separate lounge and bedroom area - great for couples where one is a night owl.

Unlimited caviar
Free Flow French
Full open bar
Full mini bar
What’s Not Included:
Several high-end specialty restaurants now have a surcharge
Demographic Best Suited To:
Almost exclusively for adults only, as reduced prices are not offered for children.
Being more expensive, more staid in decor, and more refined in service levels,
Silverea is more suited to those wanting the highest level of service.
Silversea used to have rather strict dress codes; however, in recent times, these have been considerably relaxed. Now, a collared shirt will generally surface instead of a jacket and tie in the past.
So don't be put off thinking Silversea will be too formal; times have changed.
Indeed, many still choose to dress for dinner and enjoy one or two formal nights on a cruise, but if this is not for you, it is no longer a reason to avoid Silversea.
Note: On all expedition voyages, formality is eliminated, replaced with a casual vibe that will permeate every aspect of your cruise.
Almost exclusively for adults only, as reduced prices are not offered for children.
Closest Competition and How They Differ:
The closest competitors are Seabourn and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
Seabourn is slightly less formal in dress codes.
Note that all the high lines have relaxed dress codes in recent years.
All will have approximately one formal night a week, where most people tend to dress up. However, on all lines at this level, there is no requirement to do so, and you can dine at more casual venues on these nights.
Regent has the same inclusions, whereas Seabourn does not include standard shore excursions.
Regent will generally be about the same price points
Our often exclusive Seabourn deals can be cheaper.
Cheaper options
Windstar is one to consider if your budget is tighter. They purchased the original Seabourn fleet and have refurbished them beautifully.
Their ships are smaller, at about 250-300 passengers, and still feature many identical signatures found on the Seabourn fleet today. Their traditional all-suite cruise ships (distinct from their sailing fleet) feature the same layout, such as separate lounge areas, walk-in robes, and marble bathrooms.
Azamara is another one, like Windstar, that sits at about 5.5 stars, below Seabourn. Azamara has ships no more significant than 700 passengers, and both have price points below the 6-star brands.
